... Serbian and international contemporary art

Galerija 73 presents serbian and international contemporary art

The Gallery was founded in 1973. A famous designer from Zagreb, Vjenceslav Rihter, created the logo for Gallery 73 which was awarded the best designer solution and is exposed today at the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

Since 2002 the founder of the gallery becomes Belgrade Municipality Cukarica. Since that time, a „renaissance” of the gallery begins. During the last two years, the interior of the gallery has been changed completely. The exhibition pavilion was reconstructed and equipped with modern technology in order to satisfy all the challenges of modern art tendencies.

The gallery is partly patronized by the City of Belgrade.

The gallery presents domestic and international contemporary artworks - paintings, sculptures, plastics, drawings, photography; works of applied arts as well as new media works (video works, installations, performances…).

Along with confirmed and established artists we are presenting works of young generation artists. Gallery ‘73 also cooperates in special projects with internationally based partners.
